Your Second Visit to Our Aurora Practice

Your Chiropractic Care Plan

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your second chiropractic visit will begin with an explanation of your initial exam findings. At this time, you will be shown your laboratory reports and/or imaging results, compared to normal findings.

We will compare your results to the normal established ranges. From this we will determine if your problem is one that we can help. If not, you will be referred to the most appropriate health provider.

If we think we can help you and Dr. Truhlar decides to accept you under his care, you will be presented with financial options as applied to your coverage. Once you have all of your questions answered and are prepared to proceed with your treatment plan, you may choose to begin care immediately or reschedule to begin care at a more convenient date.

Once completed, you will be escorted to the front desk to schedule your follow-up treatment visits in advance. At this time, you will be asked to settle any co-pays or deductibles that your health insurance mandates. The second visit usually lasts around 45 minutes.

Dr. Truhlar Asks some important questions of interest to Aurora residents - Chiropractor Aurora Dr. Truhlar Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
